The original company, HBM Manufacturing Canada, was sold in 2012. The company HBM Canada Manufacturing had revolutionized the whip business by designing and manufacturing the first SUPERWHIP. This product served the oil and gas sector with Super Whips, Lighted Unit ID signage and many other visibility safety products. Over the past 5 years the quality and supply of the previous products from the takeover has dropped significantly. Canada Signal has been restarted as a result from requests from prior customers and now has a wider mandate which includes Super Whips, IntelWhips, Wheel Chocks, Dozer Maintenance Mats, Solar Lighting and Solar powered Signage and Shovel Spotters and Haul Truck Spotters etc..
